BeatBox Beverages Announce The Formation of Future Proof a Next-Gen Beverage Portfolio Company; Launch Brizzy Seltzer Cocktails as First of Several Innovations

BeatBox Beverages, the team behind one of the greatest Shark Tank backed victories in the show’s history, has announced the formation of Future Proof, a next-generation beverage portfolio company. Their newest brand, Brizzy, is the team’s take on the seltzer cocktail, a combination of two mega beverage trends to hit the market, hard seltzers and canned cocktails.

Only 20 somethings when they swayed billionaire Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, to back their landmark Beatbox Beverages, the innovative beverage company has hit their stride in recent years after the success of their single-serve Tetra Pak version of their boozy party punch, which has seen exponential sales growth and holds 4 of the top 7 positions within the wine tetra category in its 400 store launch with Circle K Coastal Division.

The company is now run by a combination of millennial innovators and seasoned industry veterans including founders and executives from brands the likes of Austin Eastciders, Deep Eddy Vodka, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Saint Archer, Miller Coors, and SweetWater Brewery. Future Proof features a mix of male and female leadership at every level of the organization. “Everything changed when we got the right people in the right seats,” said co-founder and CEO, Justin Fenchel.


Just before announcing Future Proof, the company closed a $5.6m Series B round. Notable investors include Springdale Ventures, a new Austin based CPG fund, celebrity DJs Louis The Child, Party Favor, and several others. Looking to capitalize on major industry trends, Brizzy Seltzer Cocktails is a classic, yet unique take on the hard seltzer category, which analysts predict will reach $2.5B by the end of 2021. Refreshing brunch-ready flavors like Watermelon Mule , Strawberry Rosé, and Mixed Berry Mojito set Brizzy apart, with a Blood Orange Mimosa on the way.
